Ski Dubai has five slopes where you can ski and snowboard to your hearts’ content. You also have the Freestyle Snowboarding Arena where you can snowboard undisturbed by the occasional skier attempting to throw you off guard. Moreover, there are beginner slopes as well, where you can learn skiing and snowboarding at your own pace, with capable instructors watching your steps to perfection. Moreover, if you’d like to be enthralled with penguins that dwell in Ski Dubai, you can ask for a Penguin Sighting Tour as well, which would be great fund, especially if you have family and kids in tow.
The Snow Park of Ski Dubai is one of the biggest indoor snow parks in the world, with over 3000 square meters of area that is completely covered with snow all year. Your kids would love the sled rides, igloo games, snowballs that you can find in abundance, the snow shower, the snow slides that promise to be loads of fun, and the huge snow cave glistening in a corner. Thanks to the beautiful set of activities it comprised of, the Snow Park was quick to receive the ‘Family Entertainment Centre of the Year’ by the Theme Park Association, in 2007. Indeed, with the St. Moritz Café and the Avalanche Café catering to your taste buds, you can have a wonderful time at the Ski Dubai indoor snowy arena.
The Dubai SnowDrome is a huge project proposed to be set in Dubai Land (that is currently stalled) which when completed would be one of the largest hallmarks of this dazzling city. Featuring huge rotating snow slides, various slopes that are even more dangerous and thrilling than the ones at Ski Dubai, and several other attractions, it promises to propel Dubai right onto the world skiing map.
