Disney's Hollywood Studios is a theme park located in the complex of parks Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It started operating in 1989, and the theme are movies and TV shows made in Hollywood.
One of its great advantages is its Disney's FASTPASS service available to visitors to visit the four most popular attractions without waiting long lines: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and Toy Story Mania.
Each year Star Wars Weekends are held in May and June. In this special weekend there are parades, games, actors signing autographs and even classes for children lightsaber.
The park is composed of four areas, each with a different theme. The areas are:
Hollywood Boulevard and Echo Lake: In Hollywood Boulevard there are restaurants and shops selling Disney gifts and products. You can also watch the parade "Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade". There is a show of Indiana Jones in Echo Lake, the main attractions are Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Sounds Dangerous.
Streets of America and Commissary Lane: Where you will feel the whole show of the most famous streets from the big screen, with sets prepared for shows such as Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, which is one of the best shows and motor action in the park.
Pixar Place, Animation Courtyard and Mickey Avenue are children’s favourite areas, and many adults too, the typical Disney attractions along with many new features found in this area.
Finally there is Sunset Boulevard, where we find two prime attractions, roller coaster Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and the area of terror The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Another attraction of the park is the Disney Quest, an interactive park of video games located in Downtown Disney. The park has a number of interactive attractions, rides and games in a five-storey building. It is basically a video games theme park, from the pin ball machines from the 70's, the popular Games from the 80’s like Pac Man, Space Invaders, Galaga and Frogger, to the most recent games like Rock Band and Dance Dance Revolution; also games based on movies like Pirates of the Caribbean, Aladdin and the Magic Carpet and Toy Story.
